Remote Patient Monitoring for Medical Providers

Many of the practices we work with are multi-specialty practices that have Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and MD’s on staff.

These practices can benefit from a new service that CMS has opened up in 2019 and clarified it so that it can be adopted extensively in 2020. This is great for patient’s health as well as practice bottom line. Many patients suffer from chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, CHF, COPD which require constant monitoring of their vital signs.

Traditionally, they will get their vitals checked when they come for an office visit. Most of the time, this is not enough as the patient might be anxious during the visit or the time gap between the visits is quite long so the provider does not have an accurate picture of how the numbers are changing.

Patients often use off the shelf devices to monitor their blood pressure, blood glucose, oxygen saturation, and write them in a notebook which they bring to their doctors. This is a big improvement yet not enough because they can miss taking reading and by the time they bring their books to the office visit, things could have taken turn for the worse.

Our partner company Healthmote has a solution which can tremendously help patients. They have developed a solution that is very easy to implement in your office and easy for your patients to use. They will provide your patients with a FREE device like:

1. Blood Pressure Monitoring Device

2. Remote Pulse Oximeter

3. Weight Monitor, which automatically transmits the data to a portal that you will have access to.

They even have Health Coaches will monitor the patient’s information and intervene as necessary with phone calls to patients and the provider.
